Zorzal común
El zorzal común (Turdus philomelos) es una de las cuatro especies de zorzal que alberga Sierra Nevada. Característico invernante en nuestra Sierra, no asciende tanto en altitud como su pariente el zorzal charlo (Turdus viscivorus, que si es nidificante), encontrándose en las zonas montanas bajas y zonas arbustivas y de cultivo (olivares por ejemplo), a menos de 1.400-1.500 m de altitud. A characteristic wintering bird in our mountains, it does not ascend to as high altitudes as its relative, the mistle thrush (Turdus viscivorus, a breeding bird), being found in lower mountain areas and shrubby and cultivated zones (olive groves, for example), below 1,400-1,500 m in altitude.
