A finales de abril llegan los primeros roqueros rojos (Monticola saxatilis) a las alturas de Sierra Nevada, a pesar de las gélidas temperaturas que durante la noche y la madrugada reinan en ellas. Antes de comenzar la crianza todavía tienen que soportar algunas nevadas, una climatología drásticamente diferente a la existente en sus cuarteles africanos de invierno.
