Roquero rojo (VI)
Aún cuando la nieve abunda en Sierra Nevada (finales de abril), el roquero rojo (Monticola saxatilis) abandona sus localidades africanas y asiáticas y alcanza nuestro continente. En Sierra Nevada aparece por encima de los 1.700 m de altitud aproximadamente, alcanzando durante el verano los 3.000 m de altitud. Cabecera del Genil, a más de 2.400 m de altitud (mayo de 2025).Even though snow is abundant in the Sierra Nevada (late April), the red rock thrush (Monticola saxatilis) leaves its African and Asian locations and reaches our continent.
