Artemisia granatensis, endemismo de Sierra Nevada. La codicia por su recolección y venta llegó hasta tal extremo que ha estado cerca de su desaparición hace tan solo pocos años. Protegida por Ley a nivel nacional, este vegetal contaba con numerosos efectivos y poblaciones cuando fue descubierta a mediados del siglo XIX por el prestigioso suizo Boissier; en la actualidad, afortunadamente se encuentra en clara recuperación. Cabecera del río Poqueira, 3.100 m de altitud (julio 2021).
Artemisia granatensis, endemic from Sierra Nevada. The greed for its collection and sale reached such an extreme that it has been close to its disappearance only a few years ago. Protected by law at the national level, this plant had numerous troops and populations when it was discovered in the mid-nineteenth century by the prestigious Swiss Boissier; at present, fortunately it is in clear recovery. Headwaters of the Poqueira River, 3,100 m altitude (July 2021).
