Fuego en la Sierra
En verano de 2014 se produjo un incendio que arrasó el extenso cultivo de pino carrasco (Pinus halepensis) existente bajo el Camino de los Neveros, frente a Cenes de la Vega. Afortunadamente y a pesar del estrecho y mal cuidado cortafuegos existente, el fuego no alcanzó el cerrado encinar colindante que existe al W del citado pinar (agosto 2014).In the summer of 2014 there was a fire that destroyed the extensive cultivation of Aleppo pine (Pinus halepensis) under the Camino de los Neveros, in front of Cenes de la Vega. Fortunately, and despite the existing narrow and poorly maintained firebreak, the fire did not reach the adjacent closed oak forest that exists to the W of the aforementioned pine forest (August 2014).
